Too many of my clients and friends feel like imposters in their businesses, jobs and lives.

All these amazingly inspirational, accomplished, experienced people feel like they might be judged and thrown out of the tribe one day.

Because of this ego-based fear known as imposter syndrome.

This stops people putting themselves out there and showing their expertise, which stops other people benefiting.

It stopped me starting my business, and sharing any of my expertise until I had my coaching certification. To be honest, I learned a lot more about coaching by having real conversations with people and helping them with real issues than I did during the theoretical certification course. Qualifications don’t necessarily provide any more expertise than on the job learning. (Of course, in certain industries such as medicine or psychotherapy, you should definitely make sure the practitioner is fully qualified!)

When I first quit my 9-5 job and started this coaching business full-time, I made 3 sales in 3 days, and banked over £1800. Then someone told me that it wasn’t normal for new coaches to make money that quickly – apparently most coaches don’t make a profit for at least 6 months.

That well-meaning advice caused me to feel like an imposter, and stopped me making any more sales for several weeks. If most coaches couldn’t make sales that quickly, then who was I to go against the grain?

Of course, that was just nonsense. Any business should follow its own path, not the “rules of average”.

A similar thing happened again recently, when I launched a new programme and made potential sales of over £300,000. Other people’s opinions affected me then, too, and my ego listened to the imposter syndrome voice instead of my inner confident self. I knew that I could deliver that amount of value to my clients, and I still do.

You live, you learn.

But this is just one way in which imposter syndrome can affect your life, and your business.

I know several high six-figure earning business owners and managers who still feel like they’re just “winging it” and would lose their income if anyone found out that they didn’t know everything.

So if success doesn’t get rid of imposter syndrome, what does?

That’s what I’ll cover in the six week No More Imposter Syndrome course.

In six weekly sessions we’ll look at exactly how Imposter Syndrome affects you, where it comes from and HOW TO GET RID OF IT FOR GOOD!

Here are the topics we’ll be covering:

Week 1. What imposter syndrome is and how it can affect your life in direct and indirect ways

Week 2. Self worth, self esteem and self concept

Week 3. How to raise your self worth through service and value to others

Week 4. The stories you tell yourself and others

Week 5. Releasing the imposter within

Week 6. Getting paid for the high value you provide
